KSAX reported a man, who is serving an eight-year sentence, was convicted of causing a St. Paul car accident in 2006.
The man was driving a Toyota Camry when he tried to stop his car; instead he caused a Minnesota auto accident in which three people were killed.
The man stated he tried to apply the brake to stop his car, and it failed to stop when he caused the St. Paul auto accident. His attorneys are investigating to see if his car has similar problems that are involved in the latest recalls by Toyota.
