Donald D. Donaldson attended undergraduate school at Augustana College where he was a Dean's List student four years in a row. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science before attending the University of Minnesota Law School. He received Dean's List honors all three years. He graduated cum laude earning his Juris Doctorate in 1993.

Since graduating from law school, he has dedicated his law practice to helping individuals and their families recover from injuries suffered through the negligence of others and defective products.

Mr. Donaldson is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice. He joined Butwinick Donaldson: The Action Lawyers as an associate in 1998 and has been a partner in the firm since 2000.
